Getting Off the Bus

Can’t believe it’s finally here.

I just want to say thank you to National Community Church for allowing me to be apart of this congregation for the past 5 years. I truly love and will miss this church terribly. It’s been a joy and a privilege to serve you. I hope that you’ve enjoyed the work that I’ve put on the screens or in your hand while I’ve been with you. I hope it entertained, intrigued, provoked, and taught.

This church is truly special and I’ve been blessed to aid in leading it with a tremendous staff. You guys don’t know how lucky you really are. Thank you.

In my place, NCC has hired Brad Wolf, a phenomenal designer and motion artist.1 If you enjoyed some of the trailers and animations I’ve done over the years, buckle up because you haven’t seen anything yet. This guy is legit; I’m so excited to see him come in as I exit. Show him some love when you see him around.

One thing Pastor Mark has mentioned in our announcements to the staff and such is that I am a shareholder in what God has done and is doing and will continue to do at National Community Church. I feel that, definitely and am very proud of it. NCC is where I met my wife2, found my voice, and became the man I am today. Every single NCCer is a permanent shareholder in Jeremy and Adrienne Sexton.

Thank you. And God bless.

  1. Upon seeing that demo reel, I emailed Jim Tanious 3 words… “Hire this man.” He’s sick! ↩︎

  2. Which is, ya know, kinda cool… ↩︎
